CLIENT

moody but funk

Our client, a talented freelance graphic designer with a wealth of experience from her years in the city of New York, approached us with a vision to elevate her home office. As her business expanded, she needed a space that felt professional while still being a true reflection of her style and personality.

Choosing the right wall color was a pivotal decision. Our client has an affinity for vivid shades, but finding the perfect balance of vibrancy became some of a challenge. After some contemplation, she took a leap of faith in us and opted for a rich, moody blue.

The result? It was transformative. So the tone wouldn’t feel so daunting, we decided to paint just a little more of 3/4 of the wall, making the painted area feel highlighted. The mix between this captivating shade and the colors featured in the gallery wall of posters hits just the right note of funkiness, perfectly capturing the creative spirit she envisioned.

Every piece in the room, from the carefully selected décor like the New York poster, camera, and typography books, to the antique secretary desk with its own cherished history, was placed with intention.

The layout was thoughtfully designed to strike a harmonious balance between a personal haven and a thriving workspace. It's a space where creativity and productivity seamlessly coexist, a testament to the seamless integration of personal and professional in our client's life.
